While we move through the summer of 2021, there's an element of doubt regarding how Rotary can continue to facilitate the connections between people that Rotary members have appreciated in the past. While the motto of "hands-face-space" will certainly be part of routine in our organization, it's clear that trust is growing and more people are making face-to-face relationships. However, the nature of Rotary has changed. There is still a level of uncertainty that will continue to grow as we progress through summer 2021. It remains to be seen how the human connections that Rotary members valued during the past will remain. While the motto of "hands-in-space" will always be a part of our everyday routine, it is evident that the confidence of our members is increasing as are the more direct relationships. Rotary however has evolved. The Rotary network helps build relationships which last. The outbreak of the pandemic was our catalyst to adopt the latest technology. In order to keep the business meetings we hold online we have reintroduced service and social activities in a secure environment that is a face-to-face. To create an exciting new future, we've taken the new possibilities and merged these with our most effective pre-pandemic strategies.
